This Guitar May Make You More Cool

Well, the Road is going on forever this year. As you know, this is the 20th anniversary of when The Road Goes on Forever was penned, and in addition to the book (out now), the documentary (coming soon), the contest for my fans to submit photos and stories (going on now), we now have a pretty cool guitar for sale. It is an Epiphone Special II and has to official Road Goes On Forever emblem on it. It's pretty slick. It'll make for a dandy birthday present.

Check it out when you get time and if you decide to buy one, thanks. If not, that's cool too. You're still alright in my book.

See you crazy people out on the Road.... Back

Wilmington DE Show - 2009-10-30
Mr. Keen, What a show you and Todd did last night with Bruce Robison in Wilmington. The event was on of the most personal and up close as you can get. Each of you guys made the show a special event for me and friends. My nephew who is 10 years old was blown away that you did the song he requested. You have a fan for life. Thanks and the show was fantastic

Thank-you for bringing a piece of TX to Delaware!!! - 2009-10-30
My husband and I moved from Austin to Delaware (also known as Delawhere?) two years ago for sand and surf. We miss Austin terribly. Last night we saw REK at the Grand in Wilmington. I will be carrying this smile for months. Thanks for bringing us a little piece of Texas to Delaware. It warmed our hearts (the beer helped too, next time bring some Lonestar with you :)) PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE come back!!!!!

9 banded armadillo - 2009-10-15
I've never been to one of your shows but I saw you on TV once! I have been a picker for years, and my father turned me on to you so many years ago I cant recall. he's in jail now ;-) such is life, serving life no less... but man he is a great musician and so are you. by far you are one of the best song writers ive ever heard. I have not been to the united states in years, and when I left the only thing I took in terms of music CD's was one me and a friend cut together and a couple of yours (purchased legally of course). If I thought there was a god i'd say god bless you, so instead i'll just say im thakful for you. you dont get the recognition you deserve man. but regardless of that, im glad you keep on doing what you do.

I think I met Joe... - 2009-09-21
Glad I caught you in Tuscaloosa. Made the roadtrip to north MS the next morning...took some flowers...spent some time there...visited with momma and all the friends and neighbors...They treated me like family...even invited me to stay for dinner...Nothing less than magical...One of the most surreal experiences of my life. Thought I'd let you know...

my fiance and i had a great time at "the moon" on the 16th of august. it was my second time seeing you (the first time was in san francisco at "the hardly strictly bluegrass festival" two years ago. me and some friends flew up from san diego to see ya). it was exceedingly kind of you to stick around and sign autographs and chat after an awesome two hour show. thanks for the autograph, picture, and handshake. i'm looking forward to the new album and seeing you again...

Crazy I am, cool I'm not - 2009-06-03
It's too bad I don't need a guitar because I could stand to be a little cooler. It is pretty sweet, though, so I'll tell my guitar-playing friends about it. :)
