Did Someone Say New Album?
Lots of stuff going on, not sure where to start. Ok, how about this. We have a new album coming out (drum roll please)…….this Fall. We’ve been working hard on it and it’s shaping up to be quite a gem. One cool thing about the new album is the entire band is featured…which if you know my band, it has to be good. We also have some guest vocals from Billy Bob Thorton and my good friend and fellow songwriter Greg Brown. The album is produced by Lloyd Maines (can I get a Hell Yeah!!). If you don’t know Lloyd, the man is a country music stud both as a legendary steel guitarist and producer. Stay tuned to the site as we will keep you up to date as much as we can on its release.
Other cool stuff happening: we have a
new book out, check that out when you get time. It’s a heck of a read. And don’t forget about
The Road Goes On Forever contest we have going on right now on the site. You can send us your photos, videos and/or stories. The best one gets featured in my new documentary. So, send ‘em on. You can’t win it if you don’t get it in.

| I moved from SA to Connecticut last yr and now i can't see ya live anymore. I remember a show you did at the Warner Theatre in Torrington, CT in '06. If you could ever find time to come back up here my friends and I would be ecstatic. |

| Monday's SLO Show - 2009-03-26 |
| The show in SLO on Monday was incredible!! The band walked out on stage and looked like it was Monday. But by the second song, we were off for the evening!! Thanks so much for the great show! The packed house enjoyed every minute -even though the sound totally sucked. It was a funny thing. One of the best performances with one of the worst mixes! Who ever was doing the audio didn't do a good job! SLO loves you guys!! Please come back soon! |

| Ripped it up Monday night! In a venue too smaller than the garage it would take to park a tour bus, you can't ask for a better show! I was all the way in the back and could still see like the front row of a large venue. Thanks for never forgetting the small towns and true fans. |

| REK tore it up at the Hanford Fox last night. An amazing, stellar show ranging from elctric to acoustic w/o microphones. He and band looked so happy and it was a veritable greatest hits evening with some new and some tidbits mixed in. Really, a huge effort by REK and the band that we really were honored to be a part of. Thanks so much, Robert! |
