What does this signify FPB? I've been noticing the forward slash in alot of your recent posts.

like Prince did a few years ago Front Porch Boy has changed his name to a symbol. From this point forward please refer to FPB as /

Isn't "Slash" a singer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers?   Don't make me use Google (I don't use it any more because I use Cuil as my search engine).   My feelings for Google are equivalent to many old timers in the PC business feelings about MS (MicroSoft).

\/\/

Maybe guitar player for Guns n Roses?

formerly. Now I think he still plays with the Velvet Revolver

Thanks for the clarification FPB.  I just thought maybe one of your fingers was slippin.

DR - the front slash (/) is a prop to keep the posted lines of information off of the bottom of the space where your tag line is supposed to go.   When I was P.O.ed the other day (@ Snarkey's making light of persons who are challenged), I tried to eliminate myself from the Memberlist by deleting everything in my Profile.   It didn't work, and I was thinking about asking Mr. Crick and/or Mike how to delete my Profile from the Memberlist and really go away from the MB for good.    This MB is worse than a $10 a day habit.

\/\/ - So Snarkey can think I am supporting you-know-who!

Hey FPB, you can't just quit the message board. You would need to go into the message board protection program and get a whole new identity, and we'd still find you. Unless of course you went to live with Stratback. He seems to know how to ditch us pretty well.

Oh, and one other thing. I'd really like it if you stuck around.

Hey FPB:  You can't let what people write around here get to you.  "It's only a movie."  I think you're a valued contributor here and even if we seldom agree, it wouldn't be the same without you.  (How's that for some major league ass-kissin'?   )

TV - We agree a whole lot more than you know, but it is always refreshing to find a new slant or view on various subjects.   There are some current and past posters that had a wealth of knowledge about subjects that were encyclopediac (how's that for a word?).   The sainted Dogman, as well as others posting here, have (had) an appreciation for good music - lyrics and melodies.

DR - Yes, you would be rolling in the dough $$$, but you could double your take simply by stating, "threatened to leave and came right back."

glad I missed that one, but the shear hypocracy of it now had me curious. I simply choose to not read anything erek or MB posts unless it's a reply in a thread and life here is much simpler for me. you can't let the bad men win FPB
