The link shows Forbes listing of the highest paid actors.  Will Smith gets top honors.  He's ok, but come on...

This begs the question...who's your favorite actor / actress?
This is different than, who do you think is the greatest actor / actress?

I'm not gonna answer yet. I have to think about it.

I have had this discussion with a friend of mine who is a big movie fan, and the conclusion we both came to is that Gene Hackman is one of the best actors ever. What I mean by that is that he makes any movie he is in better. Watch the French Connection and Hoosiers and tell me someone else could have done a better job with that role. Not to mention the priceless small part he played in Young Frankenstein.

Looks like SNL is a good stepping stone to some big cash (Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrel and Sandler).

Faves are Russell Crowe and Depp (love the movie Ed Wood) and I like Sandra Bullock too, but not that crazy about most of her movies.

Clint Eastwood is making some incredible movies as a director in his twilight years. Just recently watched Letters from Iwo Jima and its a three hour movie with subtitles and it held my interest. Hackman was downright evil in Unforgiven.

Actor? OK, I'm old. Peter O'Toole, hands down. Watch "My Favorite Year" "Lawrence of Arabia," "Lion in Winter" et. al.

Actress? Living, I suppose, leaving out Katie & Deborah and Barbara Stanwyk, sheesh. I can't think of too many, but Susan Sarandon comes to mind.

My Favorite Year is one of my favorite movies. Peter O'Toole was great in that film.

I used to love George C. Scott. "The Hospital" was such a weird, great movie. He was very intense, but fun to watch.
